And Other Conversations about Race and president emerita of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.  Dr. Coleman serves as Deputy Chief of Improvement of the CORE Districts.  CORE is a non-profit collaborative that supports districts and schools in California to improve outcomes with the goal of eliminating equity and achievement gaps.  She has also worked throughout Washington supporting Educational Services Districts develop their capability in improvement science.
